I identify as a non-binary trans feminine person. I am 58 years old and I am about a year into my journey of self-discovery. I have been on HRT for 3 months and it has changed my life but that is another story. I have been following you on YouTube for about 8 months and eagerly awaited the release of your book. I know it was not specifically geared to older trans people per se but Dara said that there was something in there for everyone so I purchased a copy. I purchased a second edition copy from Amazon and I really like the workbook being Incorporated with the text. I've been working with a gender therapist for about 8 months and when I started your book, was already well into the discovery portion of my journey. I wanted to share that everything you have covered in your book was spot-on with what I have done with my therapist. I am currently working through the discovery and what's next sections of the book. I find it to be very insightful and well written. I think this book will be very helpful for anyone questioning their gender identity. Whether they are CIS or trans. You and your journey helped me discover that I am also non-binary. I was assigned male at Birth but it never fit. I had anger issues my entire life. I sought out therapy to figure out my anger issues and discovered I have gender dysphoria. Since treating the dysphoria with HRT the anger has melted away after 58 years. My wife who decided to stick with me is thrilled with the person I have become. I had to risk it all but I am finally now able to live an authentic life.
